Book your opportunity to smash up various household items and anything we can get our hands on. Under 18's need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian who will sign a waiver. The parent or guardian, if not smashing themselves, do not need a ticket. Scrapclub is a Destructivist art project exploring the motivations and effects of acts of destruction. We see it more than just blind rage release but also an activity that poses questions about value, heritage, vandalism and issues of waste. It also elucidates an angle of human object relationships, the actual physical interaction between human and machine that goes against the prescribed, consumer driven, planned obsolescence motivated production line. Art objects. We love the disfigured objects resulting from the destructive fury. Each object starts out identical on the production line and ends up uniquely distorted at Scrapclub by the invested emotional cathartic energy.
